Families want their children to grow up healthy in the place where they deserve to feel the safest: at home. However, home is where the majority of accidental childhood injuries happen. Fortunately, most of these injuries are both predictable and preventable. Safe Kids Kansas will share information on common hazards in the home and tips on how to make your home a safer place for kids.
While these trainings were created for home visitors and health coordinators, if you are a parent or caregiver, a teacher, a classroom aide, or you would just like to know more about playground and home safety, you are welcome to attend!
