Early Head Start Expansion in Kansas

We are pleased to announce that 11 Kansas Early Head Start programs have received expansion awards through American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding.

The programs are: Child Start, Inc., Wichita; Clay County Child Care Center, Clay Center; Community Action, Inc., Topeka; Hays USD 489 Head Start, Hays; Heartland Programs, Salina; Kansas Children's Service League, Garden City; NEK-CAP, Inc., Hiawatha; Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center, Oakley; Project EAGLE, Kansas City; Reno County Head Start, Hutchinson; and SEK-CAP, Inc., Girard. These awards add 442 new children and families to Kansas Early Head Start.
