 Intended for home visitors\, family service workers\, nurses\, service coordinator and social workers in Head Start/Early Head Start\, Parents As Teacher\, Healthy Start and other agencies delivering home visitation.  This is a five-day session\, adapted from the Nebraska Home Visitation Training Curriculum. Participants will learn\:<br />

 • Family development from a systems perspective<br />
 • The home visitor’s role in relationship to culture<br />
 • Ways to effectively communicate and reflect<br />
 • Ways to assess families\, document and set goals<br />
 • Community resources that help families reach their goals
