This is a repeat of a popular webinar from last year. Our resident expert, Rhodanne, will share strategies for promoting positive relationships between parent and child. This is targeted to Early Head Start, partner staff, and parents.

This one-day seminar will provide the latest information on new performance standards, which are expected to take effect by January, and offers your leadership team time to plan for those changes. This is designed for Head Start directors, managers, grantee administrators, and fiscal officers. Space is limited to five representatives from each program.

This training takes an in-depth look at the family partnership agreement process and is designed to increase the capacity of Head Start staff working directly with families. The training focuses on the importance of building collaborative partnerships with families, encouraging family growth and development through goal setting, and applying family support strategies.

Early Childhood Educators can feel incapable and frustrated when trying to meet the needs of children with challenging behavior. Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is a system used by several of our Head Start Programs in Kansas and increasinly by school districts as well. The model focuses on promoting social/emotional development and preventing challenging behavior.
Presenters are from SEK-CAP, which is a national model program for PBS.

Intended for staff delivering intensive home visitation services to families with young children, including Early Head Start, home-based Head Start, and partner programs. This consists of three two-day sessions. Participants will learn:
- an outcomes-based approach to three models of change and how each model relates to families at risk.
- appropriate usd of child assessments to engage parents and care providers as partners in discussing children's strengths, skills, and next steps.
- techniques for setting meaningful goals and supporting professional development with staff.
